Trey Songz performed in Detroit, Michigan for The Big Show At The Joe (Dec. 28) when he flipped out over his mic being turned off in Joe Louis Arena. The 32-year-old artist informed the audience, “They said they gonna cut my mic off because I’m taking too much time.. But if a n***a cut me off I’m going the f**k crazy.”

Instead of the Neighbors Know My Name singer continuing along with the songs he had originally lined up, he belligerently sang “Don’t do it, cut me off” in response to security. He told his Trey Angels to share on social media if the incident does occur. After his mic was cut off, he destroyed his stage set and jumped off the scene, literally. Songz vowed to fans in an all black outfit and rocking his reasonable sized fro, that all he wanted to do was a give a show worth remembering. The lineup for the event included performances by Chris Brown, Desiigner, Zay Hilfigurrr, Young M.A., Icewear Vezzo, and Lil Yatchy.

Songz’s recent post on Instagram can be taken as his response to the negative spotlight he has received. He posted to his social media account yesterday (Dec. 28), “You become your own reputation unfairly or not…they gon watch this and they gon think that, they gon talk much while knowing little to nothin. F**k em…keep pushin”

The Virginia state native confirmed in an interview with 106 KMEL that he will be dropping a self-titled album in 2017, Tremaine, which makes two years since the release of his last album, Trigga. He took to Twitter on Christmas Day (Dec. 25), “real life savage.”

After what happened on stage, we believe you Trey, a savage indeed.
