For the second season of David Letterman’s Netflix show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, the talk show host has a promising lineup. For this time around, one of Letterman’s guest will include none other than Kanye West.
As shown in the two-minute trailer, Kanye is asked about velcros and zippers, obviously feeding into his designer background. Hitting the nail on the head for heavier topics, Mr. West talks briefly regarding bipolar disorder.
“When you’re bipolar, you have a potential to ramp up, and it could take you to a point where you start acting erratic, as TMZ would put it,” the father-of-four states. Last Friday (May 10), Kim Kardashian West, Kanye’s wife, confirmed that their surrogate gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The newest addition to their family will join their one-year-old daughter Chicago, five-year-old daughter North, and three-year-old son Saint West.
In addition to Kanye, Letterman will also interview a list of promising guests this season including Tiffany Haddish, Ellen DeGeneres, Melinda Gates, and Lewis Hamilton. Last season, Letterman spoke with Barack Obama, Jay-Z and more.
