Actress, author, chef, the list goes on to describe Ayesha Curry. With all of her accolades, including being the wife of very successful NBA star Stephen Curry, one might assume that Ayesha is living her best life. However, in a recent interview on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk show, the basketball wife gets candid about feeling insecure from lack of attention from other men.

During the interview, Ayesha admits to the talk show host that not receiving male attention has resulted in her questioning herself.

“What really bothers me and has honestly given me a little bit of a sense of insecurity is the fact that, yeah, there are all these women throwing themselves,” Ayesha began to explain when talking about groupies around her NBA star husband. “But me, like the past 10 years, I don’t have any of that. It sounds weird, but I have zero male attention. So, then I begin to internalize it, like, ‘is something wrong with me?’”

Unfortunately, social media was not happy with Ayesha’s explanation. In fact, one fan wrote “Are all women really ungrateful? #AyeshaCurry.” Another fan pointed out that if roles were reversed and Steph was seeking female attention, the conversation would take a turn for the worse.

“Remember ladies, had it been Steph ‘needing’ female attention for his ‘insecurities’ he would’ve been another ‘ain’t shit a** n***a’ and a “homewrecker”. So keep that same energy #AyeshaCurry,” the fan wrote on Twitter.

What do you guys think? Does Ayesha Curry have a right to be insecure? Check out one of the clips from the interview below.
